Brain Injury Survivors This website contains a thesis that was completed in 1996. The title of the thesis was Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation: Survivors' Perspectives. The research component of the thesis involved a year long study of people with traumatic brain injuries. The subject matter of the thesis included a theoretical analysis of certain topics of interest that the author surmised would be of interest to the brain injury survivor community, a community that included the author. |

1000 Voices While a lot of research is conducted in the field of disability using statistics and other medicalised forms of data, we rarely hear about the experiences of people who live with disability. The 1000 Voices project hopes to remedy this situation by collecting and displaying 1000 life stories from people with disability from around the world. |

National Companion Card The National Companion Card is now fully operational in all States and Territories. The official launch of the national scheme was held on 3 December 2009.
